Third Party Certified Iroko from Latham

IrokoThe UK’s leading timber and panel products distributor, James Latham, is pleased to announce that it is now stocking third party certified Iroko at its Yate depot.

The West African hardwood timber has many desirable features and is suitable for a wide range of applications such as furniture, exterior and interior joinery, as well as floors, cladding and construction work.

Iroko varies in colour from light yellow to golden brown and has a coarse texture. It is one of the most naturally durable timbers because it contains natural oil, and is resistant to decay making it very suitable for laboratory and kitchen fittings.

Yate depot director, Andy Duffin, commented: "There is very little awareness of third party certified Iroko so we are looking forward to informing current and potential customers about the uses and advantages of this hardwood timber. At Lathams we try to source timber in line with our environmental policies wherever possible, and we are delighted that we can now offer this versatile timber as legally verified."

For further information about third party certified Iroko, contact the Yate depot on 01454 315421. Alternatively, contact the marketing department on 0116 257 3415 or email marketing@lathams.co.uk.
