James Latham PLC

The Directors of James Latham PLC are pleased to announce that Nick Latham has been appointed to the Board from 5th April 2007.

He joined the Company in 1991 and, after a period of training at the old Clapton branch, sold both timber and panels from the sales offices and as a representative.  He was responsible for opening the panels business in Eastleigh and then in 2001, the very successful panels business at Hemel Hempstead.  He has a degree in Business Organisation and passed the certificate level exam of the Institute of Wood Science.

He will bring to the Board his excellent hands-on experience of servicing customer requirements which is key to the future success of the business.

Nick Latham and his wife currently hold 490,048 shares in the Company, representing approximately 2.45 per cent. of the Company’s voting share capital.  In addition Nick Latham is one of a number of  beneficiaries of certain Latham Family Trusts which in aggregate hold 352,056 ordinary shares in the Company.
