Decked out with DLH at Lathams

Following a great response to iDECK at James Latham’s Purfleet depot, the leading timber and panel products distributor is now stocking the product across the group.
I-DECK®, from Danish group DLH, is the ideal product to transform large commercial projects or domestic gardens. It is made from a hardwood called Bangkirai or Yellow Balau, and this durable, knot-free wood needs no treating from any chemical preservative.
I-DECK® is hard-wearing and is available in four standard sizes, three thicknesses and in a range of lengths. It is available in a smooth or grooved surface finish and is perfect for everything from small gardens to patios and public terraces.
Lathams is also supplying iCLIP, manufactured using Ipe, which is a hidden fastening system for the decking boards. The iCLIP means that boards are quickly and easily joined together, with no pre-drilling required as the clip is attached to the edge of the decking.
In line with Lathams’ on-going commitment to the issue of sustainability, The DLH Group encourages its suppliers to put sustainable forest management into practice.
Timber director John May commented: "We are delighted that we can offer this product to our customers. We will be targeting national merchants, garden centres, pub operators and contractors, and we’ll have literature and displays for customers to use in showrooms. It is important for James Latham to distribute products that are responsibly sourced, so The DLH Group was an obvious choice to team up with."
