James Latham, the UK’s leading timber and panel products distributor, is pleased to be one of the first companies to offer responsibly-sourced Forrestar™ plywood from Weyerhaeuser.
Weyerhaeuser has developed the Forrestar plywood using Pine and Eucalyptus with a first rate glued bond, which will offer superior structural qualities, excellent flatness and stability and will be suitable for a wide range of applications.
Lathams director Chris Sutton commented: "We are delighted to be trialling our first delivery of Combi plywood. We have a long-standing relationship with Weyerhaeuser, having been the first to order its Medite® Standard MDF, made in Ireland, and we are very excited about the new Forrestar plywood which has now attained CE2+ certification." He continued: "As Lathams has such a strong commitment to the environment, we endeavour to use materials which are responsibly sourced, so we are particularly pleased that Weyerhaeuser is on track for PEFC certification by the end of the year."
