James Latham is pleased to announce the sponsorship of the WCFM (Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers) to help fund the upcoming course ‘Manufacturing Excellence for the Furniture Industry’, due to take place 14th – 16th April 2008. The course is to ensure the furniture industry has successful manufacturing within the UK, and to ultimately improve the increasingly competitive market.
Piers Latham, Director, was approached with the request to support the WCFM course that will take place at the Highgate House Conference and Training Centre in Northampton, and because the course will give attendees the opportunity to learn and practice operational skills, he agreed that this was a great investment for future furniture makers and potential employees of Lathams. Course attendants will also have the chance to observe and hear from those who have instilled lean techniques into successful business operations, plus much more. Additional supporters include IDFX magazine and Furnisure.
