James Latham plc ("James Latham", the "Company")

James Latham announces that Malcolm Parkinson will retire as a non-executive director of James Latham on 31 August 2008. The Board would like to record its thanks for his contribution to the Company over the past 15 years.

The Board is delighted that Meryl Bushell will be joining the Board as a non-executive director from 1 September 2008. Meryl has many years senior management experience with BT including several years as Chief Procurement Officer for the BT Group where she was responsible for all BT's procurement, supply chain and property activities. Her experience of supply chain management and overseas procurement, together with her special interest in corporate responsibility, will add a further dimension to the Board's policy making.
