The UK’s leading Timber and Panel products distributor, James Latham, has announced the appointment of non executive director, Meryl Bushell, as of 1 September 2008.  She will take on the role previously held by Malcolm Parkinson who is to retire on 31 August 2008.   

Meryl has many year’s senior management experience with BT including several years as Chief Procurement Officer for the BT Group where she was responsible for all BT’s procurement, supply chain and property activities.  Her wealth of experience, together with her special interest in corporate responsibility, will add a further dimension to the Board’s policy making.
