James Latham, the UK’s leading Timber and Panel products distributor, wishes to congratulate and support Border Worktops and Interiors on its success with LG HI-MACS® and the recent opening of its new showroom.

Border Worktops and Interiors, based in Duns and set up by Adrian Shilton in early 2008, specialise in making high quality work surfaces and commissioned items in acrylic solid surface materials. Adrian has now opened a showroom dedicated to displaying examples of these versatile products in a wide variety of settings including bathrooms and kitchens.

With over 30 years experience in the furniture industry and an array of awards under his belt, Adrian is more passionate about his trade than ever. He commented: "I truly love my work and am always looking for the next challenge. My past experience includes owning a company that employed 110 people which I sold to a large PLC in 1987 to recently working for the E.U as a manufacturing consultant where I advised companies on how to improve quality and manufacturing techniques, mainly in Eastern Europe and Western Africa."

Since starting the new project, Border Worktops and Interiors has gone from strength to strength, Adrian concluded: "Now the showroom is open, demand has definitely increased and we’re confident our success will continue. We have a fantastic relationship with James Latham and believe that LG HI-MACS® is definitely the way forward in solid surface."
