Advanced Technical Panels, part of James Latham - the UK’s largest timber and panel products distributor, has recently added FSC certified Buffalo Trans to its portfolio of Buffalo Board products.
This slip-resistant plywood is constructed from birch and is suitable for demanding trailer and truck floor applications. It features a special wear resistant, tough textured square patterned surface that can withstand a range of commonly used chemicals and provides a minimum Taber value of 5,500 and Rolling Test value of 6,000 revolutions. The reverse features ATP’s distinctive Buffalo logo - ensuring a quality product.
Buffalo Trans is manufactured from 1.4mm birch veneers and is bonded with a tough thermosetting resin which conforms to EN 314-2: Class 3 for bonding. The board also meets EN13986:2004 for structural use in load bearing applications.
Recommended applications include; trailer floors, commercial vehicle decking, van floors, scaffold platforms, stage and grandstand flooring, narrowboat decking, playground equipment, plus many more.
ATP is now stocking Buffalo Trans in 18mm, 21mm, 24mm and 27mm widths with special cut to size and special constructions (what does this mean?) available on request. To calculate the required load resistance and deflection, ATP provides customers with tabulated strength data information.
