James Latham’s high quality Bausen hardwood flooring was used recently in the construction of a new retail shop in Leeds.
 
The trendy clothes shop, Joy, is located in The Light shopping centre, and was constructed by Kent-based Peach Projects who are regular customers at James Latham’s Thurrock depot for its plywood supplies.
 
The construction of the shop required 400sq meters of brushed oiled engineered Bausen hardwood, which was supplied by Latham’s Ossett depot.  Sales representatives at the depot worked closely with Peach Projects to ensure the correct specifications were met for the shop, which was designed by SHH Architects.
 
Richard Pickles, Latham’s group hardwood flooring manager, comments, “It is always a pleasure when our regular customers turn to us with another exciting new project such as this, so we were more than happy to provide Peach Projects with the materials they required.  The shop looks great, and the Bausen flooring adds a contemporary edge to the interior.”
 
Bausen’s popularity continues to grow due to the different ranges of contemporary oil-finished oak.  Other flooring species available include Canadian Maple and American Black Walnut.  These are all perfect for interior designs, and have been used on various projects for the hospitality and leisure sector including stylish bars.
